अगर आप नोकिया के पुराने फोन या ब्लैकबेरी मोबाइल इस्तेमाल करते हैं तो आपके लिए बुरी खबर है। वॉट्सऐप इस साल के आखिर में ब्लैकबेरी और नोकिया के प्लैटफॉर्म्स समेत कई पुराने OS वाले मोबाइल्स पर सपॉर्ट बंद कर रहा है। यानी 2016 के बाद इन मोबाइल्स पर वॉट्सऐप इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जा सकेगा।
फेसबुक के मालिकाना हक वाली कंपनी वॉट्सऐप ने ब्लॉग पोस्ट के जरिए यह जानकारी दी है। कंपनी ने कहा है कि ब्लैकबेरी डिवाइसेज़ के अलावा नोकिया S40, नोकिया सिंबियन S60, ऐंड्रॉयड 2.1, 2.2 और विंडोज़ फोन 7.1 ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम वाले फोनों पर भी वॉट्सऐप नहीं चलेगा।
कंपनी ने पोस्ट में लिखा है, 'ये मोबाइल हमारे इतिहास का हिस्सा रहे हैं। मगर अब हम भविष्य में अपने ऐप में जो फीचर डालने वाले हैं, उनके हिसाब से ये मोबाइल सक्षम नहीं हैं।' वॉट्सऐप ने यूजर्स ने कहा है कि वे इस मेसेजिंग सर्विस को यूज करते रहने के लिए अपना मोबाइल अपग्रेड करें।
कंपनी ने लिखा है, 'हमारे लिए यह फैसला लेना कठिन था, मगर लोगों को वॉट्सऐप के जरिए जोड़ने रखने की दिशा में यह कदम जरूरी है। अगर आप इन मोबाइल्स की वजह से प्रभावित हो रहे हैं तो हम सलाह देते हैं कि 2016 खत्म होने से पहले नया ऐंड्रॉयड, आईफोन या विंडोज़ मोबाइल खरीद लें।'

What Exactly Is a Xenial Xerus?

Storage Spaces Direct

Storage Spaces Direct is a feature introduced in Windows Server 2016 that extends the software-defined storage (SDS) stack in Windows Server to enable building highly-available (HA) storage systems with local storage.

Microsoft developed Storage Spaces Direct, or S2D, to help simplify the deployment and management of software-defined storage systems as well as to open the use of new classes of disk devices like SATA and NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express disks) disk devices, which were previously not able to be used with clustered Storage Spaces with shared disks.

Storage Spaces Direct in Use

Storage Spaces Direct can use disks internal to nodes in a cluster or it can directly attach to nodes in a cluster via an enclosure. Storage Spaces aggregates the disks local to the cluster nodes, which creates a Storage Pool of these disks and enables virtual disks to be created.

These virtual disks can be used as a Cluster Shared Volume (CSV) that can house Hyper-V virtual machines (VMs) running on ReFS-formatted volumes.

What this essentially means is that with Storage Spaces Direct, HA storage systems can be built using storage nodes with only local storage – either with disk devices that are internal to each storage node or disk devices in JBODs (Just a Bunch Of Disks) where each JBOD is only connected to a single storage node.

Hard Drives are Dying (Or Maybe Not)

"It is extremely likely that some current technologies may not survive in their current form."

That's the opening sentence of Jeffrey Layton's discussion about the future of hard drives in Enterprise Storage Forum, and clearly it's an understatement. Layton takes a deep dive into the challenges facing traditional spinning disks, HDD, namely deep encroachment by SSD, as well as Intel/Micron’s 3D XPoint NVRAM (Non-Volatile RAM).

Will SSD Prices Fall Enough to Wipe the Hard Drive Market?

On the SSD front, one of the factors I find most interesting about the rise of flash is the ever-changing forecast about its falling price. SSD offers better performance than hard drives and are also more expensive – but this greater expense is a key factors in favor of HDD. However, it seems as time goes by, the distant date when SSD prices fall enough to fully wipe out the hard drive market seems to move closer and closer.

As Layton observes:

Just a few years ago, the average $/GB for an SSD was about $1/GB, even for consumer drives. Now some of them are below $0.25/GB. Given that the sequential performance of an SSD is about 5-10 times that of a hard drive and the random IOPS performance is 3-5 orders of magnitude greater than a hard drive, SSDs are becoming extremely popular as a storage medium.

Eventually, it appears, there won’t be a cost justification for HDD, at which point they will head to the trash bin of data storage history. Or, alternately, the relative cheapness of hard drives will continue to win them a place in data storage, for lower priority storage tiers. Possibly they'll take up a role in longer term storage, the niche that tape still shines in.

Yet in the longest term scenario, the future for hard drives doesn't look bright.

On The Other Hand

Before you stop shopping for hard drives altogether, however, consider the factors that suggest hard drives have a good long life ahead of them.

In a contrarian article posted on Enterprise Storage Forum entitled Hard Drives Are Here To Stay (For Now), storage analyst Greg Schulz noted that HDD are seeing significant performance improvements. For instance, Seagate's shingled magnetic recording (SMR), which boosts disk density to achieve an impressive 25% more capacity.

Moreover, both Seagate and Western Digital are investing in heat assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) technology. Remarkably, Seagate CTO Mark Re told Enterprise Storage Forum that, in contrast to a current HDD technology that offers 1 terabit per inch of max density, HAMR will offer 4 terabit per inch density. Think about storing 60TB of data on a 3.5 inch disk. And this isn’t just a dev pipedream – storage products that incorporate HAMR should be available in 2018, Re told ESF.

Given the HDD performance enhancements, coupled with the likely price drops, it seems that HDDs will be with us a good long time.

WhatsApp, the Facebook-owned instant messaging platform, is soon going to add features like ‘call back’ and voicemail among others.

The company had made headlines recently as it announced its new encryption feeature which doesn’t allow anyone to snoop on users’ chats. 

Reportedly, the new ‘call back’ feature can be accessed without opening the app and users can call their friends back with just the tap of a button. The button will be placed in the notifications panel of the instant messaging service.

The Jam Koum-founded company is also expected to be working on a voicemail feature for iOS users. The feature will let users record voice mails and send them to their contacts and will only work when the user is already busy on another WhatsApp call.

US Supreme Court allows the FBI to Hack any Computer in the World

The US Supreme Court has approved amendments to Rule 41, which now gives judges the authority to issue search warrants, not only for computers located in their jurisdiction but also outside their jurisdiction.

Under the original Rule 41, let’s say, a New York judge can only authorize the FBI to hack into a suspect's computer in New York.

But the amended rule would now make it easier for the FBI to hack into any computer or network, literally anywhere in the world.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) can now Hack your computers anywhere, anytime.

The FBI appeared to have been granted powers to hack any computer legally across the country, and perhaps anywhere in the world, with just a single search warrant authorized by any United States judge.

The U.S. Supreme Court approved yesterday a change in Rule 41 of the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure that would let U.S. judges issue warrants for remote access to electronic devices outside their jurisdiction.

"These amendments will have significant consequences for Americans' privacy and the scope of the government's powers to conduct remote surveillance and searches of electronic devices," Democratic Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon said in a statement Thursday.
"Under the proposed rules, the government would now be able to obtain a single warrant to access and search thousands or millions of computers at once; and the vast majority of the affected computers would belong to the victims, not the perpetrators, of cybercrime."

If Congress doesn't act, the changes to the Rule 41 will take immediate effect in December despite opposition from technology giants and civil liberties groups who believes the changes would expand the FBI's power to conduct mass hacks on computer networks.
The tech giants and civil liberties groups like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) say the change also could run afoul of the American Constitution's protections against inappropriate searches and seizures.

However, while proposing the rule change in 2014, the U.S. Department of Justice described it as a small modification required to modernize the criminal code for the digital age, saying the changes wouldn't permit searches that aren't already legal.

Previously, under the Rule 41, magistrate judges could not approve search warrants to remotely hack or access computers outside their jurisdiction.
But with the rule change, magistrate judges could now issue orders to search or seize computers and electronic devices outside their local authority if the target's location is unknown or if the target is using anonymity software like TOR.
More than a Million of Internet users make use of TOR anonymity software to browse the Web just to hide their actual identity for entirely legitimate reasons, in addition to criminals who use TOR to hide their locations.
Recently, the court threw out evidence that the FBI brought by hacking the members of the child pornography site PlayPen on the TOR network using its so-called Network Investigative Technique (NIT), explaining the feds violated Rule 41's territorial restrictions.
This rule change would prevent something like that from happening, opening doors for the FBI to legally hack any computer in any country.
The Congress has time until 1 December 2016 to reject changes or make more changes to Rule 41, after which the amended version of the rule will take effect.

साउथ लंदन के कस्बे गिल्डफर्ड में दुनिया का सबसे तेज सेलफोन नेटवर्क तैयार करने का काम चल रहा है। यह नेटवर्क 4G से 100 गुना तेज होगा। इतना फास्ट कि लोग सिर्फ 5 सेकंड में पूरी मूवी डाउनलोड कर सकेंगे।

न्यू यॉर्क टाइम्स की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक सैमसंग और फुजित्सु जैसी दुनिया की कई बड़ी टेक कंपनियों के साथ मिलकर यूनिवर्सिटी ऑफ सरे 5G वायरलेस टेक्नॉलजी विकसित कर रही है। इसकी स्पीड अभी मौजूद वायरलेस इंटरनेट की स्पीड से 100 गुना तेज होगी।

वायरलेस टेक्नॉलजी की पांचवीं जेनरेशन या 5G पर चल रहा यह काम 2018 की शुरुआत तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। इससे लोग स्मार्टफोन या टैब्स पर 5 सेकंड में पूरी मूवी डाउनलोड कर पाएंगे। अभी 4G नेटवर्क पर इस काम में 8 मिनट लगते हैं। ।

यूनिवर्सिटी के 5G प्रॉजेक्ट पर नजर रखने वाले रिसर्च सेंटर के डायरेक्टर रहीम तफाजली कहते हैं, 'लैब में तो यह टेक्नॉलजी काफी हद तक काम कर रही है। कैंपस में 70 पावरफुल रेडियो ऐंटेना लगाए गए हैं।' तफाजली और उनकी टीम के सदस्य इस प्रॉजेक्ट पर तेजी से काम कर रहे हैं।

दुनिया के सबसे बड़े कैरियर AT&T, NTT और DoCoMo इस सर्विस को सबसे पहले यूजर्स को देने की होड़ में शामिल हैं। इस प्रतियोगिता की वजह से इस रिसर्च को काफी फंडिंग मिल रही है। चीन की वावे और स्वीडन की एरिक्सन जैसी कंपनियां भी करोड़ों डॉलर्स दे रही हैं, ताकि कॉन्ट्रैक्ट करके इस टेक्नॉलजी को सबसे पहले पेश कर सकें।

ट्रेन काउंटर टिकेट रद्द करना हुआ अब और आसान ऐसे करे घर बैठे रद्द !

रेल यात्री घर बैठे काउंटर से खरीदे गए रेल टिकट को रेलवे पूछताछ सेवा 139 पर फोन के जरिए रद्द कराने सकेंगे। इसके अलावा यात्री 139 पर एसएमएस भेज कर अथवा आईआरसीटीसी की वेबसाइट पर जाकर भी टिकट रद्द सकते हैं। हालांकि रेलवे की ओर से मुहैया करायी गई इस विशेष सुविधा के एवज में रेल यात्री को अपनी जेब ढीली करनी होगी। फोन करने पर महानगरों में 1.20 पैसे प्रति मिनट व अन्य शहरों में दो रुपये प्रति मिनट की दर से भुगतान करना होगा। 

वहीं, 139 पर दो एसएमएस पर छह रुपये अदा करने होंगे। यात्रियों को इस बात का खास ध्यान रखना होगा कि फोन अथवा एसएमएस पर टिकट रद्द कराने की सुविधा तभी मिलेगी जब आरक्षण फार्म भरते समय वह अपना मोबाइल नंबर दर्ज कराएंगे। 139 पर फोन करने व एसएमएस करने के लिए उक्त मोबाइल नंबर का ही प्रयोग करना होगा।

139 पर फोन के जरिए काउंटर टिकट रद्द कराने की प्रक्रिया

टिकट रद्द कराने के लिए यात्री को 139 पर फोन करना होगा। इसके पश्चात विकल्प के रूप में छह नंबर दबाना होगा। 139 कॉल सेंटर से ऑटोमैटिक रिकार्ड की हुई आवाज में पूछा जाएगा कि ई-टिकट रद्द कराने के लिए एक नंबर दबाएं और काउंटर टिकट रद्द कराने के लिए दो नंबर दबाए। यदि यात्री ने गलती से दो नंबर (ई-टिकट) दबा दिया तो उससे अनुरोध किया जाएगा कि 139 पर सिर्फ काउंटर टिकट रद्द कराने की सुविधा है। इसके लिए यात्री को आठ नंबर दबाकर मेन मेन्यु में जाना होगा। एक नंबर दबाने के बाद कॉल कॉल सेंटर के कर्मचारी के पास पहुंच जाएगा। कर्मचारी अपने कंप्यूटर सिस्टम से यात्री का पीएनआर नंबर व ट्रेन नंबर पूछेगा। सही जानकारी होने पर यात्री के मोबाइल नंबर पर वन टाइम पासवर्ड (ओटीपी) भेजा जाएगा। यात्री ओटीपी की जानकारी कर्मचारी को देगा। जिसे कंप्यूटर सिस्टम में फीड कर दिया जाएगा। इसके साथ ही सिस्टम पर टिकट रद्द होने और रिफंड की राशि स्क्रीन पर आज जाएगी। कर्मचारी इसकी जानकारी रेल यात्री को दे देगा।

 

 

139 पर एसएमएस से काउंटर टिकट कराएं रद्द

रेल यात्री को मोबाइल के मैसेज बॉक्स में जाकर दस डिजिट वाला पीएनआर नंबर लिखना होगा फिर स्पेस देकर टे्रन नंबर लिखकर 139 पर एसएमएस करना होगा। 139 से यात्री के मोबाइल नंबर पर उक्त पीएनआर के रद्द करने के साथ ओटीपी आएगा। यात्री को उक्त ओटीपी को 139 पर पुन: भेजना होगा। इसके बाद 139 से यात्री के पास एक और मैसेज आएगा जिसमे टिकट रद्द होने व रिफंड राशि की जानकारी होगी।

आईआरसीटीसी की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध होगी सुविधा

रेल यात्री आईआरसीटीसी की वेबसाइट पर जाकर काउंटर टिकट रद्द करा सकते हैं। वेबसाइट पर काउंटर टिकट रद्द कराने के लिए नया पेज बनाया गया है। इसमें यात्री को लॉगइन करने की जरुरत नहीं होगी। वेबसाइट पर यात्री को अपनी पीएनआर नंबर व टे्रन नंबर दर्ज करना होगा। इसके बाद यात्री के मोबाइल पर ओटीपी आएगा। ओटीपी को वेबपेज पर दर्ज कराना होगा। इसके बाद यात्री का टिकट रद्द हो जाएगा। इसकी जानकारी यात्री के मोबाइल पर आ जाएगी जिसमें रिफंड की राशि का भी जिक्र होगा। इस सुविधा का लाभ ड्यूटी पास, पीटीओ, प्रिविलेज पास आदि के यात्री भी उठा सकेंगे।

ट्रेन छूटने के चार घंटे पहले करना होगा प्रयास

ट्रेन प्रस्थान होने के समय से चार घंटे पहले टिकट रद्द कराने पर यात्री को रिफंड मिलेगा। इसके पश्चात नहीं। शाम छह बजे से सुबह छह बजे के बीच ट्रेन होने पर अगले दिन सुबह काउंटर खुलने के दो घंटे पहले टिकट दिखाकर यात्री रिफंड पा सकेंगे। रिफंड पाने के लिए उसी स्टेशन पर जाना होगा जहां से टे्रन पकड़नी थी।

पैन के बारे में

परमानेंट अकाउंट नम्बर (पैन) कार्ड एक फोटो पहचान पत्र है, जिसमें प्रत्येक कार्डधारी के लिए 10 अंकों वाला एक अल्फा न्युमेरिक नम्बर आवंटित की जाती है। इसे भारत सरकार के वित्त मंत्रालय द्वारा जारी किया जाता है और आयकर रिटर्न दाखिल करने के दौरान पैन नंबर उद्धृत करना अनिवार्य है। इसके अलावा, पैन का उपयोग बैंक में खाता खुलवाने, पासपोर्ट बनवाने, ट्रेन में ई-टिकट के साथ यात्रा करते समय पहचान पत्र के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है।

पैन का उपयोग

पैन का उपयोग इन कार्यों के लिए अनिवार्य रूप से किया जाता है:

• आयकर (आईटी) रिटर्न दाखिल करने के लिए,
• शेयरों की खरीद-बिक्री हेतु डीमैट खाता खुलवाने के लिए,
• एक बैंक खाता से दूसरे बैंक खाता में 50,000 रुपये या उससे अधिक की राशि निकालने अथवा जमा करने अथवा हस्तांतरित करने पर,
• टीडीएस (टैक्स डिडक्शन एट सोर्स) जमा करने व वापस पाने के लिए।

प्राप्त करने की पात्रता

• कोई भी व्यक्ति, फर्म या संयुक्त उपक्रम पैन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन कर सकता है। इसके लिए कोई न्यूनतम अथवा अधिकतम उम्र सीमा नहीं है।

पैन हेतु आवेदन करने के लिए ज़रूरी दस्तावेज़

• अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली पासपोर्ट आकार की दो रंगीन फोटो
• शुल्क के रूप में 105 रुपये का डिमांड ड्राफ्ट या चेक

ध्यान दें: यदि आवासीय पता के प्रमाण के लिए क्रम संख्या 1 से 7 तक में उल्लिखित दस्तावेज का उपयोग जा रहा हो, तो वह जमा करने की तिथि से छः माह से अधिक पुराना नहीं होनी चाहिए।

पैन कार्ड के लिए शुल्क व भुगतान की प्रक्रिया

• पैन आवेदन के लिए शुल्क 105 रुपये है (93.00 रुपये + 12.30% सेवा शुल्क)
• शुल्क का भुगतान डिमांड ड्राफ्ट, चेक अथवा क्रेडिट कार्ड द्वारा किया जा सकता है,
• डिमांड ड्राफ्ट या चेक NSDL- PAN के नाम से बना हों,
• डिमांड ड्राफ्ट मुम्बई में भुगतेय होनी चाहिए और डिमांड ड्राफ्ट के पीछे आवेदक का नाम तथा पावती संख्या लिखा होना चाहिए,
• चेक द्वारा शुल्क का भुगतान करनेवाले आवेदक देशभर में एचडीएफसी बैंक के किसी भी शाखा (दहेज को छोड़कर) पर भुगतान कर सकते हैं। आवेदक को जमा पर्ची पर NSDLPAN का उल्लेख करनी चाहिए।

पैन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन प्रक्रिया

• पैन के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन की प्रक्रिया शुरू करने से पहले आपके पास 105 रुपये का बैंक ड्राफ्ट या चेक अवश्य होनी चाहिए अथवा आपके पास ऑनलाइन भुगतान के लिए क्रेडिट कार्ड हों,
• पैन के लिए ऑनलाइन अवेदन हेतु https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/form49A.html अथवा पर क्लिक करें,
• सबसे पहले वार्ड/ सर्किल, रेंज, कमिश्नरी, एरिया कोड, एओ कोड, रेंज कोड तथा एओ से संबंधित सूचना भरें,
• वार्ड/ सर्किल, रेंज, कमिश्नरी, एरिया कोड, एओ कोड, रेंज कोड तथा एओ संबंधित जानकारी के लिए यहाँ क्लिक करें,
• यह जानकारी निकटतम आयकर कार्यालय से भी प्राप्त किया जा सकता है,
• इसके बाद दिये गये फॉर्म को भरें,
• फॉर्म में आपको अपने कार्यालय पता का भी उल्लेख करना होगा। यदि आपका कोई कार्यालयी पता नहीं हों तो उसकी जगह आप अपना कोई और पता लिख सकते हैं,

888 रुपये वाले डोकॉस एक्स1 फोन की तस्वीरें और वीडियो आए सामने

रिंगिंग बेल्स और एमफोन की राह पर चलते हुए जयपुर स्थित डोकॉस कंपनी ने मात्र 888 रुपये में डोकॉस एक्स1 स्मार्टफोन लॉन्च किया। इस हैंडसेट को लेकर रिंगिंग बेल्स के फ्रीडम 251 जैसा उत्साह तो नहीं देखने को मिल रहा। लेकिन हर यूज़र यह जानने के लिए उत्सुक तो ही है कि मात्र 888 रुपये वाला यह फोन कैसा होगा।

जहां फ्रीडम 251 के लिए लॉन्च इवेंट का आयोजन किया गया था और रिव्यू के लिए मीडिया को हैंडसेट भी उपलब्ध कराया गया था। ऐसा डोकॉस एक्स1 के साथ नहीं हुआ। इस सीधे लॉन्च करने की खबर आई। इसके बाद से मीडिया में ऐसी रिपोर्ट आईं जिससे कई इच्छुक ग्राहकों के मन में हैंडसेट को लेकर शंका पैदा होने लगी। शायद इसी संदेह को दूर करने के मकसद अब कंपनी ने इस स्मार्टफोन की ताज़ा तस्वीरें जारी की हैं। साथ ही फेसबुक पर स्मार्टफोन के बारे में बताते हुए एक वीडियो भी साझा किया गया है।

वीडियो को देखकर तो यह प्रतीत होता है कि इसे कंपनी के अधिकारियों द्वारा ही बनाया गया है। वीडियो में डोकॉस एक्स1 के कुछ स्पेसिफिकेशन का ज़िक्र करने के साथ उन अधिकारियों ने कीमत को हैंडसेट की सबसे अहम खासियत बताई है।

पैन कार्ड एप्लिकेशन ऑनलाइन सब्मिट करने का तरीका

आज की तारीख में हमारी सरकार टेक्नोलॉजी को लेकर बहुत ही जागरूक है। अब लगभग हर सरकारी काम ऑनलाइन किए जा सकते हैं। पिछले साल तो केंद्र सरकार ने एक वेबसाइट लॉन्च की थी जिसके जरिए केंद्र सरकार के कर्मचारियों की एटेंडेंस को ट्रेक किया जा सकता है। अब जतनी इतनी सारी सरकारी सेवाएं डिजिटल हो गई हैं तो हमारा मानना है कि पाठकों को भी इसकी जानकारी होनी चाहिए।

इसी प्रक्रिया को आगे बढ़ाते हुए हम आपको बताएंगे कि पैन कार्ड (PAN card) के लिए कैसे ऑनलाइन अप्लाई किया जाए। भारत में ज्यादातर फाइनेंशियल ट्रांज़ेक्शन के लिए आपको पैन कार्ड की जरूरत होती है। चाहे बैंक अकाउंट खुलवाना हो, या इनकम टैक्स रिटर्न फाइल करना या फिर 50,000 रुपये से ऊपर का ट्रांज़ेक्शन, हर जगह पैन कार्ड जरूरत होती है।

पैन कार्ड के लिए आवेदन देना बेहद ही आसान है। आप ऑनलाइन फॉर्म भर सकते हैं, लेकिन आपको सारे डॉक्यूमेंट को इनकम टैक्स ऑफिस के पास पोस्ट करना होगा। तभी आवेदन की प्रक्रिया पूरी होगी। वेबसाइट पर फॉर्म भरने के बाद आप अपने एप्लिकेशन को पैन कार्ड ऑफिस भेज दें।

इन डॉक्यूमेंट की ज़रूरत पड़ेगी
एप्लिकेशन सब्मिट करने के लिए आपको PAN Services Unit की वेबसाइट पर कई डॉक्यूमेंट अपलोड करने की जरूरत पड़ेगी। आपको पहचान पत्र, एड्रेस प्रूफ (पते का सबूत), जन्मतिथि प्रमाण पत्र और फोटोग्राफ अपलोड करना होगा। नीचे दिए गए हर सेक्शन में से आपको एक डॉक्यूमेंट की स्कैन कॉपी निकालने की जरूरत पड़ेगी।

1. पहचान पत्र
पैन कार्ड बनवाने के लिए इनमें किसी एक डॉक्यूमेंट को पहचान पत्र के तौर पर भेजा जा सकता है।

2. पते का सबूत

आप इन डॉक्यूमेंट का भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं, पर यह तीन महीने से ज्यादा पुराना नहीं होना चाहिए।

इनमें से किसी एक डॉक्यूमेंट को जन्मतिथि प्रमाण पत्र के तौर पर पेश किया जा सकता है:

नगर निगम द्वारा जारी किया गया जन्म प्रमाण पत्र या जन्म और मृत्यु के रजिस्टरार द्वारा जन्म और मृत्यु प्रमाणपत्र जारी करने के लिए अधिकृत किसी दफ्तर द्वारा। या भारतीय कॉन्सलेट द्वारा।
पेंशन पेमेंट ऑर्डर
रजिस्टरार ऑफ मैरेज द्वारा जारी किया गया शादी प्रमाणपत्र
10वीं क्लास का पासिंग सर्टिफिकेट
पासपोर्ट
ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस
सरकार द्वारा जारी किया गया डोमिसाइल सर्टिफिकेट

4. फोटो
आपको पैन कार्ड एप्लिकेशन के साथ अपनी दो तस्वीर भी भेजनी पड़ेगी।

अप्लाई करने का तरीका

एक बार जब सारे डॉक्यूमेंट आपके पास उपलब्ध हो जाएं, उसके बाद ये करें:

1. NSDL की वेबसाइट पर इस पेज पर जाएं।
2. बॉटम तक स्क्रॉल करें और Apply for a new PAN Card के ड्रॉप डाउन मेन्यू में Individual सेलेक्ट करें। फिर Select करें।
3. अब आप फॉर्म भरना शुरू कर सकते हैं। अगर आपको कोई शंका है तो इस पेज पर जाकर फॉर्म भरने की गाइडलाइन को पढ़ सकते हैं।
4. पहला फील्ड AO Code है जिसे आप यहां खोज सकते हैं। आप इनकम टैक्स डिपार्टमेंट के हेल्पलाइन नंबर 18001801961 पर कॉल करके अपने AO code के बारे में जान सकते हैं।
5. name, gender, address जैसे फील्ड को भरने में आपको परेशानी नहीं आनी चाहिए। हां, जिन-जिन डॉक्यूमेंट को आप सब्मिट करने वाले हैं उन्हें चुनते वक्त खास ख्याल रखें। आप प्वाइंट 15 पर बने ड्रॉप डाउन मेन्यू में फॉर्म चुन सकते हैं।
